Elders

Bill Bennett
Bill became a Christian in 1958.  He has been a member of the church at Goodlettsville since February 2002 and he became and elder in 2004.  He and his wife, Frances, have two sons and a daughter and three grandsons.  They also have several foster children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Bill's favorite scripture is 2nd Timothy 2:15.

    
Danny Bowman
Danny became a Christian on October 13, 1963.  He has been a member at Goodlettsville since August of 1958 and he became an elder in January of 1999.  He and his wife, Susan, have two married sons and five grandchildren.  All members of the family attend the Goodlettsville congregation.  Danny's favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13.
  
 
 
Nelson Boyd
I was baptised on May 10, 1960 by my father.  We came to Goodlettsville in 1996.  I served as a deacon for several years and became an elder in June 2011.  My wife Marie and I have three children and one grandson.  My favorite scripture is John 14:1-7.
 
 
 
 
 
Mike Huffines
Mike became a Christian on August 1, 1975.  He and his family have been members of the Goodlettsville congregation most of the time since then. He and his wife, Reba, met and married here.  They have two sons and two grandchildren.  They also have a great love for the Lord's work in Baja California, Mexico.  Mike's favoritescripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 
 
 
Carl Minchey
Carl has attended Goodlettsville Church of Christ since 1951 and was baptized in 1962.  He has served as a deacon for 30 years and as elder since February 2007.  He has two daughters and 3 grandchildren.  Carl's favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.      
 
 
 
 
 
Don Shivers
Don became a Christian in 1958.  He has been a member of the Goodlettsville Church since 1971 and he became an elder in January of 1999.  His wife is Sandra and they have two daughters.  Don's favorite scriptures are John 3:16 and Proverbs 22:6.
 
 
 
 
 
Jon Wilson
Jon obeyed the gospel in 1976.  He and his wife, Debbie, have lived
across the United States but returned home to raise their son and daughter.  They have been members at Goodlettsville since 1996.  He and his family love their brothers and sisters in Christ in Mexico and return whenever they can.  Jon's favorite Bible passage is Jude 20-23.
