Our Community

Goodlettsville Church of Christ has been a staple of this community since 1915, and is committed to improving our neighborhood, serving our neighbors, and spreading the Gospel. Our local outreach programs include the Clothing House Ministry, the Goodlettsville Help Center, and many volunteer opportunities year-round.

years serving our community

The church was founded in 1915 and is dedicated to serving and improving the community it lives in.

families served by clothing ministry per year

This ministry is provided through the generosity of our members who donate clothing items and funds to distribute to those in need throughout our community.

Thousand hand-sewn items per year

These items are hand sewn by members of our congregation and distributed to people in need across the country

Our Programs

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” - 1 Corinthians 15:58

The purpose of our outreach and missions is to train and equip ordinary people to go and do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus, so that all might see, hear, and experience God’s love in tangible ways.

International Missions

Serving the world is just as important as serving our local community. We sponsor missions across the world, including missions to Mexico, Brazil, Haiti, India, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Ghana.

ladies sewing ministry

Contributing with our unique talents and resources is possible in many ways. One of the ways some ladies of our congregation do so is by sewing articles for those in nursing homes, hospitals, children’s clinics, and those confined to home.

mother’s day out

Children are a heritage from God and parents have a sacred responsibility to raise children to honor the Lord, His Word, and His Creation. Our Mother’s Day Out Program is dedicated to support parents in this endeavor.

Today’s youth are tomorrow’s spiritual leaders. We are dedicated to providing activities for our youth to grow spiritually, become service oriented, fellowship with each other, and ultimately follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

Colossians 3:16

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

Worship Services

Gathering together as a congregation to worship the Lord is one of the greatest things man can do. Anyone who wants to be a part of our group is welcome. We are always looking for more people who we can help see God or who can help us in our walk with Him. We aren't perfect and you don't have to be perfect either but we are striving to present ourselves to God molded and shaped by Him, not the world. Come to God with a broken heart and He will make you new.
