VBS Marketplace 29AD

Children are transported to Jerusalem 29AD and will experienced the ancient Jerusalem Marketplace. They'll become apprentices in one of eight marketplace shops, where will hear “rumors” of what is happening in their town. Scripture comes to life in this interactive VBS.

Children learn skills such as pottery, carpentry, weaving, running an herb and spice shop, jewelry making, dreidel making and a prayer tent. Each “shopkeeper” stays in the character of a shopkeeper in the year 29 AD and teach their “trade” to the children. The days are filled with small skits that play out the last days of Jesus' life, including The Triumphal Entry, The Last Supper, The Crucifixion and The Resurrection of Jesus.
